Do I need to provide anything for this kind of service?
Just your dog! We operate a fully mobile climate controlled grooming salon on wheels! We bring everything we need your provide you pet both a calm environment and products catered to their skin and coat needs.
It is required that dogs are up to date with their vaccinations, unless there is a medical issue or titers have been done.
What dogs do you groom?
We are accepting long hair dogs up to 40 lbs that require a full groom (for example,Yorkie, Maltese, Shih Tzu, etc.). Also short haired and double coated breeds that are under 80 lbs (for example, Beagle, Doberman, Labs, Golden Retriever, etc.).
What extra fees and add-ons are offered?
Our grooming packages are all inclusive; a hair cut or deshedding treatment, premium shampoo & conditioner customized to your dogs skin & coat needs, hypoallergenic facial, nails cut & grinded, pad paw balm, fresh breath dental foam, ears cleaned, cologne, and bandana or bows.
Anal glands expression (external) and gentle ear plucking is available by request.
New York State does require the collection of sales tax on all pet grooming services.
What is you service area?
I am based in Albany, NY. I'm currently accepting clients that are within a 10 mile radius of Albany. Appointments will be grouped by location and neighborhood. If you are farther out then that but interested, please reach out. I am starting wait lists, and if an area has at least 4 dogs interested I will add it to my service route.
Do you have any scheduling requirements?
In order to maintain the best, healthiest coat for your dog, we do strongly recommend clients maintain a regular schedule or either 2 or 4 or 8 weeks.
What is the price?
Please check our price list to get an idea on cost. Short hair small dog (under 20 pounds) Zen Deluxe bath's start at $95, and small dog (under 20 pounds) Zen Haircuts start at $115. The prices listed are starting prices, it is based on the amount of time it takes to groom your dog. So if you dog needs extra time and care due to coat condition, matting, drying time, temperment/difficulty with grooming etc. the price could be more. To get a customized estimate of your pet, please send us a photo and the weight of your dog.
